Major Project Planning (15%) – Bring an idea to life and make a difference in the world by exploring questions, problems, and potential solutions to solve a personal problem, or start an entrepreneurial venture. Planning is the first step in most maker projects:
- Make use of the Design Thinking process to identify a problem you’d like to solve, or a need you would like to meet, and identify possible solutions you could make (due August 2nd)
- Your potential solution(s) need to incorporate two or more of the technologies covered in the course
- Meet with the instructor to talk about your proposed project before you begin working on your project plan (this required meeting with happen between August 2nd and 4th)
- Create and submit a high-level work plan for your project before you begin building your prototype (due August 7th)
