Major Project Planning (15%) – Bring an idea to life and make a difference in the world by exploring questions, problems, and potential solutions to solve a personal problem, or start an entrepreneurial venture. Planning is the first step in most maker projects:

  1. Make use of the Design Thinking process to identify a problem you’d like to solve, or a need you would like to meet, and identify possible solutions you could make (due August 2nd)
  2. Your potential solution(s) need to incorporate two or more of the technologies covered in the course
  3. Meet with the instructor to talk about your proposed project before you begin working on your project plan (this required meeting with happen between August 2nd and 4th)
  4. Create and submit a high-level work plan for your project before you begin building your prototype (due August 7th)
